At Better Flooring, flooring isn’t just a trade - it’s our family tradition. With over 32 years in the industry, Greg first learned the craft under the guidance of Steve Williams in Putaruru. His dedication, skill, and passion shaped him into a true flooring artist and a mentor to many apprentices over the years.

Ricky, following in his father’s footsteps, has spent the last 14 years mastering the installation of a wide range of flooring products. With flooring in his DNA, his dream has always been to open a family-run flooring store that helps the community with honest advice and quality products.

That dream is now reality. Better Flooring is a proud multi-family business built on experience, dedication, and love for the trade. Together with Aidan (Ricky’s son, carrying on the next generation), and Beej (Greg’s nephew and Ricky’s cousin), our team is committed to keeping the art of flooring alive while setting a new standard for quality and service.
